UnitingCare Lithgow offers a range of programs for adults with disabilities.
The programs on offer are:
Post School Options
Community Participation
Transition to Work for School Leavers with a disability
Communtiy Based Respite Care (Leisure Link)
Active Ageing and Life Choices programs
Community Access and Day Program
The programs offer a range of skill based activities, recreation and leisure and life and living skills.
Participants for the Community Participation and Transition to work programs undertake skills for work and community based activities. Transition to work is a two year based program for school leavers to enable them to become work ready. The Community Participation program aims to provide Clients with life and living skills.
The Post School Options program offers past school leavers the opportunity to maintain their life and living skills and develop new skills when out in the community.
The Community Access and Day Program is a recreationand leisure based program that incorporates living skills into the daily activities of Clients. Participants must be over 18 years of age and not have a funding package for any other disability program.
