About UCL


UnitingCare Lithgow was established in 1986 to provide host family Respite Care for children and young people who had a disability. Since then the service has grown in line with community needs and now provides a wide range of services to people who have a disability, people who are frail aged and primary carers in Lithgow and Bathurst. UnitingCare Lithgow also provides Family Day Care to the Lithgow Local Government Area.
 

Mission Statement

UnitingCare Lithgow/Bathurst is committed to equal rights of access to it’s programs regardless of Race, Disability, Religion, cultural background, gender, martial status, age etc. Access to the programs will be conducted in accordance with the Disability Service Standards, the Home and Community Care Principles and guidelines set by the Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care, the Department of Health and Ageing, the Department of Family and Housing Community Services and Indigenous Affairs.
